29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about May 2, 2024, employee(s) conducting roof sheathing and framing work on a 6:12 pitch roof were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately Eleven (11) feet onto dirt, gravel, and building material on the North side of the structure above the front door. (b) On or about May 2, 2024, employee(s) conducting roof sheathing work at or near the ridge at the gabled end of a 6:12 pitch roof were not protected from falling to the lower level. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately twenty-five (25) feet onto dirt, gravel, and building material on the East side, and on the North side of the structure above the Garage.
