29 CFR 1910.106(b)(6): Sources of ignition were not eliminated or controlled where the presence of flammable vapors was possible: a. On or about 6 May 2024, at the PR Army National Guard FMS #2, Gurabo, PR - in the surrounding areas a 10,000 lbs. diesel tanker was located, tall grass and bushes were observed creating a possible source of ignition. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.

29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a. On or about 6 May 2024, at the PR Army National Guard FMS #2, Gurabo, PR - in the surrounding areas a 10,000 lbs. diesel tanker was located and used for refueling operations, a suitable fire extinguisher was not available nor provided in case of a sudden fire. NOTE: Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
