29 CFR 1910.22(b): The employer did not ensure that each walking-working surface can support the maximum intended load for that surface. a) For the metal roof section 4 area near the roof starch lines, on or about 04/30/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet, in that, employees worked/walked on a metal roof that was structurally unable to hold their weight.

29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): The employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces are inspected, regularly and as necessary, and maintained in a safe condition a) For the metal roof section 4 area near the roof starch lines, on or about 04/30/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet, in that, employees worked off of a metal roof where there was deposited moisture absorbing trim material that compromised the structural integrity of the roof. This resulted in a fall hazard from the roof section failing where employees were walking.
