29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Location: Roof of new residential building @ 13 Main St. Lakeville, MA On or about May 7, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards of 28 feet while working on the roof, where the employer did not ensure that fall protection was in place. The employer continues to fail to provide fall protection for employees. a.) Affordable Carpentry Inc. was previously cited for a Serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1722002, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/22/24, with respect to a workplace located at 17 Southwick St. Middleboro, MA. 02346
