Location: 486 Shore Drive Chatham, MA On May 7th, 2024, employees were exposed to falls from heights up to 15 feet to the ground while working from a carpenters' bracket scaffold system on a wood framing project where a competent person qualified in scaffold erection was not present to supervise or direct the scaffold erection.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Employees on scaffolds more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level by fall protection established in paragraphs (g)(1)(i)-(vii) of this section: Location: 486 Shore Drive Chatham, MA On May 7th, 2024, employees were exposed to falls from heights up to 15 feet to the ground while working from a carpenters' bracket scaffold system on a wood framing project where fall protection was not utilized. KAE CONSTRUCTION INC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1683451, citation number 1, item number 2/b and was affirmed as a final order on (11/20/2023), with respect to a workplace located at 219 Pleasant Street. South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
