OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to caught-between and crushing injuries when required to drive Crown, Model RC 5500, Stand Up Electric Forklifts onto a Landoll 930E Hydraulic Tail Semitrailer that was not prepared for dock loading per the manufacturer's instructions. a). CJ Logistics, 300 Central Park, University Park, IL, Door 124 - On or about April 30, 2024, the employer did not ensure that a Landoll 930E Hydraulic Tail Semitrailer was stable before employees transferred a Crown, Model RC 5500, Stand-up Electric Forklift from a loading dock to the semitrailer, thereby exposing employees to caught-between and crushing hazards.
