Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards: (a) 9191 Grant St., Thorton, CO 80229: On May 02, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to falls of approximately 12 feet to the level below while conducting roofing activities on an existing commercial, flat roof. The employer failed to provide training on items such as, but not limited to; nature of fall hazards in the work area; correct procedures for inspecting the fall protection systems to be used; use and operation of guardrail systems, personal fall arrest systems, safety net systems, warning line systems, safety monitoring systems, controlled access zones, and other protection to be used; limitations on the use of mechanical equipment during the performance of roofing work.
