29 CFR  1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function:  On or about May 9, 2024, an employee was required to wear a tight fitting half-facepiece respirator, while reclaiming and resetting screens, without having their facial hair trimmed or shaven so that the facial hair did not interfere with the face mask sealing surface.
