29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l). a) HABR Brokerage Inc./185 National Road/Edison NJ 08817 - Throughout warehouse - Forklift operators were not trained and evaluated to safely operate powered industrial trucks at the worksite. To include, but not limited to: -Truck safety related topics including workplace related topics; -Surface conditions where the vehicle is to be operated. Certification to include, but not limited to: -The name of the operator, the date of the training, the date of the evaluation, and the identity of the person(s) performing the training or evaluation. This condition exposed employees to struck by hazards. Condition noted on or about 5/9/2024.
