29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: At the workplace located at 4425 Oliver Street, Kansas City, KS 66106, employees were exposed to fire, explosion and projectile hazards. A compressed gas cylinder containing nitrogen was not secured to prevent damage in accordance as required by Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965.

The employer did not certify that each operator had been properly trained, and did not conduct an evaluation of each forklift operator's performance as required by the standard.
