29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form:   (a) Vacuum Oven, Abrasive and Glass Bead Blasting Operations:  On or about May 9, 2024, the employer did not identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace, including a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazards, including dusts and metal fumes and identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form.  ABATEMENT NOTE:  In accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134(d)(1)(iii), the employer shall identify and evaluate the respiratory hazard(s) in the workplace; this evaluation shall include a reasonable estimate of employee exposures to respiratory hazard(s) and an identification of the contaminant's chemical state and physical form. 29 CFR 1910.134(g)(2)(i): When there was a change in the work area, conditions, or degree of employee exposure or stress that may effect respirator effectiveness, the employer did not reevaluate the continued effectiveness of the selected respirator:   (a) Glass Bead and Abrasive Blasting Operations:  On or about May 9, 2024, the employer did not reevaluate the continued effectiveness of the N-95 respirator used in the facility's bead blasting operation in protecting the employees from airborne contaminants including, but not limited to, respirable dusts and metals.
