29CFR1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B):Each affected employee shall be instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure. On or about May 14, 2024, United Parcel Service, Inc. located at 17940 Englewood Dr, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, failed to ensure employees were trained on machine specific procedures providing alternative effective protections required under the lockout standard for the Day Small Sort conveyor prior to performing minor-servicing activities of the equipment.
