29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. On or about May 15, 2024, on the east side of the jobsite; employees were not utilizing a fall protection system while installing metal hatch pieces to the exterior wall that was 6 feet or more above the lower level and did not have protected side(s) or edge(s).
