29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person. a) 1859 S Flanders Way, Aurora, CO 80017: On May 16th, 2024, at times prior, Advocate Roofing as the controlling employer did not ensure a safety program was developed and implemented for the work environment, to include effective frequent and regular inspections made by a competent person of the job-site, materials, and equipment. Four subcontractor employees performing tear off operations on the second level worked near the edge of the building without utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall hazard of 9 feet to the ground below.
