29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means: Worksite located at 96-110 Tonnelle Ave, Jersey City, NJ a) The employer permitted employees to operate a concrete pumper truck within approximately 4 feet of 13KV power lines while delivering and pumping concrete without protection from electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it by insulation or other means. b) The employer permitted employees to install metal reshoring on the fourth floor within approximately 6 feet 8 inches of 13KV powerlines without protection from electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it by insulation or other means. Violation occurred on or about 04/15/2024 and continuing thereafter.
