29 CFR  1926.20(b)(1):The employer did not initiate and maintain such programs as may be necessary to comply with this part.  a. Jobsite located at 16828 Ridge Rd, Land O' Lakes, FL: On May 6, 2024, and at times prior, a safety and health program with policy, hazard assessment and work rules was not developed and/or implemented at the job site. Employees were exposed to the hazard of high heat from the sun during the performance of their job duties, including steel erection such as, decking and bolting steel beams for multiple hours at a time. The calculated Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) ranged from 21.0�C to 29.0�C (71�F to 85�F) while working outdoors performing moderate labor and wearing short sleeve shirts and long pants. Such exposures are likely to lead to the development of serious heat-related illnesses such as, but not limited to, heat cramps, heat stress, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke.
