OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to a fall hazard: Location: 270 Terrace Ave., Jersey City NJ a: On or about May 17, 2024, the employer failed to ensure that employees performed work at a jobsite free from recognized hazards. An employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet while standing and cutting tree branches on the raised bucket of a Komatsu PC170 hydraulic excavator.
