29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolding was not fully planked or decked: a) On or about May 21, 2024, at a worksite located at 2853 Brandywine Street NW, Washington, DC, employees working on the third and fourth level of the scaffold that were not fully decked and were exposed to a fall hazard of up to approximately 25 feet while repairing the soffit on the south side of the residence. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(ii): The top edge height of toprails on supported scaffolds did not exceed the maximum height of 45 inches for scaffolds manufactured and put into service before January 1, 2000, and also for scaffolds manufactured and put into service after January 1, 2000. a) On or about May 21, 2024, at a worksite located at 2853 Brandywine Street NW, Washington, DC, the employees were working on the third and fourth level of the scaffold that that had been erected without a top rail so that they could repair the soffit of the residence. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
