29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Back side of a fixed two-story commercial building: On or about May 21, 2024, and times prior, two employees were installing a ridge cap on a metal roof. The employees were not using a personal fall arrest system, or a fall protection system exposing them to fall up to approximately 11 feet and 10 inches eave to the ground.
