29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:   a. On or about May 22, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee using a pneumatic nail gun was not utilizing eye protection, thereby exposing the employee to hazards associated with eye injuries.  Garluiscia Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1525774, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 08-06-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 19525 Gray Ln., Frankfort, IL 60423.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a. On or about May 22, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing residential roofing operations, fifteen (15) feet eight (8) inches above the ground, were not protected from falls, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.  Garluiscia Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1525774, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 08-06-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 19525 Gray Ln., Frankfort, IL 60423.
