This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards greater than six feet. (b)Ana Martinez at 717 North Harrison Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501: On or about and at times prior to May 17, 2024, the exposing employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls while conducting roofing operations on a single-family residential home. This condition exposed the employees to fall hazards greater than six feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1):The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record to include the name or other identity of the employees trained in fall protection, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer which exposed employees: (a)Ana Martinez at 337 South Harrison Avenue, Pierre, SD 57501: On or about and at times prior to May 16, 2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were properly trained and certified on the hazards of falls or how to identify hazards prior to being exposed while conducting roofing operations on a single-family residential home.
