29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels is not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system:  a) The employer is failing to protect each employee performing work at heights greater than 6 feet above a lower level while performing framing operations without the benefit of fall protection. On or before May 22, 2024, and at times prior, this practice led to employees being exposed to fall hazards in excess of six feet while conducting framing operations at 6190 Pedregal Drive, Parker, CO 80134.  An employee fell and was seriously injured as a result of this practice.  To abate this violation, the employer must come into compliance with this standard at all of its job sites to ensure employees engaged in residential construction activities above six feet are utilizing a fall protection system before roofing activities begin.   JL Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1549026, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on October 5, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 7183 S Shady Grove, Aurora, CO 80016.  JL Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1536002, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 17002 Rose Mallow Wy. Parker, CO 80134.
