On or about May 20, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when the structural stability of a pre-engineered building under construction was not maintained. 29 CFR 1926.758(d): Construction loads shall not be placed on any structural steel framework unless such framework is safely bolted, welded or otherwise adequately secured. On or about May 20, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards when bundles of roof decking were placed on the framework of a pre-engineered building prior to it being adequately bolted or otherwise adequately secured/structurally stable. No abatement or certification is required.
