29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):"Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location: a) Rooftop of the building at the job site, 1946 Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11223 On or about May 22nd, 2024, an employee and the site foreman were working and walking on the rooftop surface of the building without fall protection. They were exposed to falling approximately 60 feet from the rooftop to the ground below.
