29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: On or about May 29, 2024, at the previously addressed job site, one employee was observed collecting debris on the ground from roofing materials being torn off and being thrown from the roof by other employees, the employee on the ground was walking amongst the debris as it was being thrown off the roof while not wearing a protective helmet to prevent their head from being struck by falling debris.
