29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, unguarded, and ungrounded electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: a) 2500 Main St., Lawrenceville, NJ: The employee was working on a circuit that was installed incorrectly by a previous electrician. The employee was shocked by a live wire that required the employee to be hospitalized. Occurred on or about 03/05/24 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR 1904.39(a)(3): You must report the fatality, in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye using one of the following methods: (i) By telephone or in person to the OSHA Area Office that is nearest to the site of the incident. (ii) By telephone to the OSHA toll-free central telephone number, 1-800-321-OSHA (1-800-321-6742). (iii) By electronic submission using the reporting application located on OSHA's public website at www.osha.gov. a) 2500 Main St., Lawrenceville, NJ: The employer failed to notify the Occupational Safety and Health Administration about a hospitalization within the required amount of time. An employee was shocked by a live wire that required the employee to be hospitalized for approximately four days. Occurred on or about 03/05/24 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 19
