29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about June 3, 2024, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 16 feet from the rear of an industrial building during the performance of solar panel installations and related work activities. b) On or about June 3, 2024, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 19 feet from the front of an industrial building during the performance of solar panel installations and related work activities. No abatement certification or documentation required for this violation.
