The trench was composed of Type B soil, had near vertical walls, and measured approximately 6.33 feet deep, 7 feet wide, and 100 feet long.

(a) On June 6, 2024, employees worked to install a sewer line in a trench, composed of Type B soil, that measured approximately 6.33 feet deep, 7 feet wide, and 100 feet long. Spoils piles were placed within 8 to 20 inches of the southeast trench wall.
