29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. a) Academy at the Lakes, 2331 Collier Parkway, Land O' Lakes, FL., on or about 06/05/2024, employees in the process of installing steel decking were exposed to 15'9" fall hazard, in that, fall protection equipment was not installed or utilized. FEMA Construction LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1603063, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/28/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 5995 Covington Garden Drive, Apollo Beach, FL.
