29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, and removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees: a) 1029 Pulinski Rd., Ivyland, PA 18974- On or about June 6, 2024, and times prior to, employees who utilize lockout and tagout for a FK6 CNC Panel Saw were not trained to understand the required procedural steps necessary to deenergize the equipment.

29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting: a) 1029 Pulinski Rd., Ivyland, PA 18974- On or about June 6, 2024, and times prior to, the employer did not provide training to employees to familiarize them with fire extinguisher use, nor told employees that they are not expected to use fire extinguishers in the event of a fire. ABATEMENT NOTE: By this date the employer must either correct the alleged violation or implement a Fire Safety Policy, as outlined in 29 CFR 1910.38(a) and (b) which included the evacuation requirement of 29 CFR 1910.157(b).
