29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): The employer did not initiate and maintain programs which provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job site, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person(s): On or about June 4, 2024, employees were exposed eye injuries while operating power tools including a Bosch Hammer Drill because the employer did not ensure a competent person conducted frequent and regular inspections of the worksite and equipment to identify the workplace hazards. BALDOVIN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1681224, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1a, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON SEPTEMBER 22, 2023, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 810 SOUTHWEST ADAMS STREET, PEORIA ILLINOIS 61602.
