29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) On or about 6/4/2024, at the transformer pad area of the site, Tonawanda, NY. Multiple protruding reinforcing steel, of round 5/8-inch diameter, were not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement in active work area where employees worked in the transformer foundation pad area. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
