29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a) On or before 6/8/2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards. A framing employee was walking and working on the top plate of the first floor's framed walls without fall protection. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards to the excess of 9 feet.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder was used as a step:  (a) On or before 6/8/2024, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from fall hazards. A framing employee used the top and top step of a 6-foot step ladder to access the top plate of a 9-foot framed wall. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards in excess of 9 feet.
