29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   (a) On or before 6/8/2024, the employer did not ensure that employees installing the shingles on a new multifamily dwelling were protected from fall hazards. Employees were installing shingles on the roof of a new three-story multifamily building with a 12/12 steep pitch roof. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard in excess of 30 feet.  MAD Roofing, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1406733, citation number1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/15/2019, with respect to a workplace located at 17899 105th Pl., Commerce City, CO 80022.
