29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program:  a) On or about July 17, 2024, at the expander machines, an employee was exposed to continuous noise levels at 120.9% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 91.3dBA during the 408-minute sampling period.   b) On or about July 17, 2024, at the pre-break station area, an employee was exposed to continuous noise levels at 92.7% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 89.5dBA during the 451-minute sampling period.   c) On or about July 17, 2024, at the pre break station area, an employee was exposed to continuous noise levels at 112.1% of the permissible daily noise exposure (8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 90.8dBA during the 451-minute sampling period.
