29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. At the job site located at 12650 Manchester Ave, Grandview, MO 64030: Employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 6' while working near the edge of a low sloped roof. The employees were installing a new roof of a commercial construction project without the use of an appropriate fall protection system. A warning line system and a safety monitor system was in use but the safety monitors were conducting other task which took the monitor's attention from the monitoring function.

29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(v):The safety monitor had other responsibilities which could take the monitor's attention from the monitoring function. At the job site located at 12650 Manchester Ave, Grandview, MO 64030: Employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 6' while working on a low sloped roof. The employees were installing a new roof of a commercial construction project and were exposed to fall hazards due to the safety monitors having other responsibilities. The safety monitors were working with the employees which took away from their monitoring function.
