29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. a) Packaging Room, on or about 06/12/2024 - employees in the process of packaging activities are exposed to trip and fall hazards, in that, the walking/working surface in the packaging area is scattered with large transfer hoses that transport product from the tank to the keg line.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Packaging Room, on or about 06/12/2024 - the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards via rotating parts, in that, employees manuever underneath the moving conveyor system to clean and/or remove beverage cans when they fall off and at times get stuck.
