29 CFR 1910.134(a)(2): A respirator was not provided by the employer to each employee when such equipment was necessary to protect the health of the employee: (a) In filler room 1, respiratory protection was not provided to protect employees from exposure to hydrogen peroxide above the permissible exposure limit of 1 ppm (1.4 mg/m3), measured as an 8- hour time-weighted average (TWA) concentration. An operator was exposed to hydrogen peroxide at an 8-hour TWA concentration of 1.6 mg/m3. Sampling was performed for 475 minutes during one shift on August 6, 2024. Zero exposure was assumed for time not sampled.
