29 CFR 1910.184(d):Each day before being used, the sling and all fastenings and attachments were not being inspected for damage or defects by a competent person designated by the employer: (a) Intsel Steel West, LLC , 8573 Ulster Street HENDERSON, CO 80640 : On or about June 12, 2024, and at times prior, employees were exposed to struck by hazards due to damaged slings (TUFF-EDGE polyester sling) that were being used to lift and transport metal beams. The slings were not being inspected or paced out of service prior to use.
