29 CFR  1926.1417(o)(1): The equipment was operated in excess of its rated capacity:  a) Meadow Rd. & Carnegie Center Driver, West Windsor, NJ  - Equipment was operated in excess of its rated capacity, thus exposing employees to struck-by and caught-in-between hazards. The crane operator did not follow the crane load chart for the main boom lifting capacities and range when hoisting trusses. The trusses weighed approximately 3,706 pounds with the boom fully extended to 155 feet and went beyond the angle of approximately 67.5 degrees causing the crane with the load to tip over. The operator took the crane beyond the crane's range capabilities. This condition was observed on or about June 12, 2024.  NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
