29 CFR  1926.102(a)(3): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee who wears prescription lenses while engaged in operations that involve eye hazards wears eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design, or wears eye protection that can be worn over the prescription lenses without disturbing the proper position of the prescription lenses or the protective lenses.  a. At a temporary worksite located at 5255 Hogarth Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043: On or about June 11, 2024, the employer exposed employees to eye injury hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that each employee who operated pneumatic nail guns wore protective side shields or wore safety glasses over their own personal glasses while nailing down exterior trim (tongue and groove boards).  b. At a temporary worksite located at 5255 Hogarth Road, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043: On or about June 11, 2024, the employer exposed an employee to eye injury hazards, in that the employer did not ensure that each employee who operated a saw to cut wood wore protective side shields or wore safety glasses over their own personal glasses while cutting wood.
