This condition exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not train each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards to enable them to recognize fall hazards and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) Blue Gate Construction, LLC, 2330 Eliot St, Denver, CO, 80211: On June 18, 2024, and at times prior, the employer did not ensure that each employee engaged in framing operations were trained to recognize the hazards of working at elevation and trained in the use of fall protection. An employee was picking up scrap material working near an unprotected edge on the third-story multi-family townhouse without the use of a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall of approximately 20 feet.
