29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toe boards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Wood-N-Tap, 12 Town Line Road, Rocky Hill, Connecticut commercial roofing project: On or about June 18, 2024, the employer failed to ensure employees wear fall protection while performing the commercial roof repair activities exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 10 feet from the eave of the roof to the ground on a 6/12 pitch roof.
