29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502. a) Worksite, 262 Manetto Hill Road, Plainview, NY 11803 - Employee was installing roofing on a one story residential home and was not protected from falling approximately 20ft to the ground below; on or about 06/20/24. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19. Ji Roofing & Exterior Corp was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1743086, citation number1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6/6/24, with respect to a workplace located at 63-28 54th Ave. Maspeth, NY 11378.

Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
