On or about June 19, 2024, at 1292 Mycroft Drive, Cocoa, FL: employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while working without a protective system inside a 14-foot deep, 22-foot-long, 18-feet wide excavation with near vertical walls, in class C soil and were not provided with a safe means of egress. The competent person did not remove employees from the excavation after witnessing the near vertical 14-foot side walls, collapse and slide into the excavation bottom.
