29 CFR 1910.333(c)(3)(i)(A)(1): When an unqualified person was working in an elevated position near overhead lines with voltages to ground rated at 50 kV or below, the location was not such that the person and the longest conductive object he or she could contact cannot come closer to any unguarded energized overhead line: On or about 06/10/2024, at 551 8th Avenue South, Naples, Florida, an employee using a 24-foot Werner aluminum extension ladder was exposed to an electrical shock hazard while engaged in tree trimming work after a palm frond contacted a 7.62-kV energized overhead power line when it was cut with a chainsaw; the palm fronds being cut were located within 2 feet from the energized powerline.
