29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(1)(i): Contaminated sharps were not discarded immediately or as soon as feasible in containers that were closable: a) Throughout the facility: On or about June 14, 2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to bloodborne pathogens in that, the employer failed to ensure that contaminated sharps were discarded immediately in a closable container while employees were engaged in medical services for the patients and working with contaminated sharps.
