29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by rotating parts and in-running nip points: Extruding Department, Lines 2 and 3: On, or about, June 21, 2024, employees were exposed to the in-running nip point and rotating tail of material when manually "doffing" the film web from a finished roll to a new core. A venturi gun could be used to hold and manipulate lighter material, but heavier material had to transferred by hand.
