29 CFR  1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a) Shop Area:  On or about July 24, 2024, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards of a Bridgeport Milling Machine that is used for machining aluminum and carbon steel metal parts that did not have the point of operation guarded.   b)Shop Area:  On or about July 24, 2024, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to flying debris, caught in hazards of a lathe used for turning aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel parts that did not have the point of operation guarded.
