29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary, whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) In a residential treatment home, located at 4810 Cooper St., Albany, GA, on or about June 26, 2024, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to infectious materials, in that the employer failed to assess hazards adequately and provide appropriate PPE for employees required to work in close proximity to clients who exhibited aggressive behavior, creating a risk for human bites.
